What is a home warranty?
Home protection contracts are commonly referred to as home warranties. A home protection contract protects a homeowners budget and peace of mind from unexpected repair or replacement costs on covered systems and appliances.
If my house is paid off, do I still need a home warranty?
Regardless of if your home is paid off or you are still paying your mortgage, it is still highly recommended that you have a home warranty or protection plan due to the rise in repair and replacement costs, the peace of mind it provides, and to safeguard your budget.
What do I do to request service in the event of a breakdown?
Simply call our customer service department at 1-800-381-8854 and we will get you taken care of.
If I have homeowners insurance, why would I need a home warranty?
Homeowners insurance usually covers events such as fires, floods, theft, or vandalism, but does not cover when a major system or appliance breaks down. Having home warranty coverage will protect those items in the event of a needed repair or replacement.
Do I have to have a home inspection before I sign up?
No, you are not required to complete a home inspection before you sign up. All customers are required to wait through a 30 day validation period before any claims can be submitted.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, you can cancel your service contract at any time. Please see your contract booklet for details.
